In the new series, "Rescue Dog to Super Dog," shelter dogs are given a second chance to become a companion to someone in need. In each episode, dog trainers, Nate Schoemer and Laura London, meet a potential owner in need of a companion dog to help them in their daily lives. Schoemer and London then head to a shelter in search of dogs with the right attitude and aptitude to provide the specific service for the disability. Watch Schoemer and London take the BUILD stage to chat about the show.

On the new Animal Planet series “Rescue Dog to Super Dog,” professional dog trainers Nate Schoemer and Laura London train shelter dogs to become companions to such people as a former Marine whose life, Schoemer says, was “completely transformed.” The two trainers visit Kathie Lee and Hoda along with adoptable dogs from Best Friends Animal Society.
